Description:

Naturally occurs in prairies, open woodlands, glades, and fields. Would work best in pollinator gardens, pocket prairie, cut flower gardens, and rock gardens. Does well in poor, dry soils but will tolerate most soil conditions except overly wet. Will spread/naturalize in garden beds if seed heads are not removed.
