Come Autumn, native landscapes brim with beauty in the form of colorful leaf displays and late-season blooms that attract hungry pollinators. Patio fire pits beckon us outside to enjoy cooler-weather hangouts with family and friends.
While it’s a lovely time for outdoor living, fall also brings some extra challenges when it comes to landscape maintenance.
For starters, something needs to be done with all those leaves. Weeds are still growing and need to be pulled before cold temperatures suppress weed pressure for the winter. Hungry deer threaten to eat those beautiful plants we mentioned earlier. And this late in the season, some plants will have grown beyond their designated zones and need to be reeled in via dividing and transplanting some of them elsewhere.
All of this means it’s essential to give your landscape some TLC this Fall.
We are currently offering a Free Land Care Consultation to new Land Care clients who sign up for a Fall Cleanup service by October 1. (The Consultation can take place after October 1, but the estimate appointment must be scheduled on or before that date.)
An Our Land Organics Earth Steward uses electric-powered landscape equipment during a Fall Cleanup visit to a client’s native landscape
During the Consultation, our Client Relationship Manager and Accredited Organic Land Care Professional Wes Sexton will visit you on-site to assess your landscape and identify potential challenges and opportunities.
After the Consultation, our professional Earth Stewards will visit your landscape to conduct the Fall Cleanup. Each Fall Cleanup is tailored to the specific landscape in question. Common tasks include ecologically friendly leaf management, installing deer protection for at-risk plants, weeding, and dividing and transplanting unruly plants.
We work with nature to improve plant health and ensure your landscape looks its best. Our forward-thinking approach to land care prioritizes ecological wellbeing and considers how your landscape will evolve over time.
Our landscape management practices follow NOFA’s Standards for Organic Land Care, prioritizing plant health, soil health, water management, and pollinator habitat. We use 100% organic practices to protect not only plants but also the health of your family, pets, and wildlife.
To schedule a Fall Cleanup and book your Free Consultation, give us a call or fill out the Contact form. Remember, this offer only applies to new Land Care clients who schedule a Fall Cleanup estimate appointment by October 1. We look forward to hearing from you!
